Osteopathy

The concept of biotensegrity used in Osteopathy comes from the search for balance and harmony of all body structures, seeking to preserve or restore the integrity of osteo-articular, neuromusculotendinous and/or visceral tensions and compressions. By finding themselves in balance, our body responds better to all the challenges of everyday life. The intervention is carried out by manual therapy (with myofascial, manipulative, muscle-energetic, visceral, sacrocranial techniques, etc.), acting on the musculoskeletal system with the aim of reaching the entire muscular, joint, fascial, ligaments, nervous tissue, vascular, lymphatic and visceral. The individual's approach is global and consists of the treatment of dysfunctional musculoskeletal structures that may be compromised and, therefore, be the cause of the symptom(s) that the patient presents.

Osteopathy seeks the correct alignment of body structures in terms of posture, repetitive efforts, injury prevention, everyday stress... A muscle/tendon/ligament under tension (hypertonicity) can cause pain, spasticity, fatigue... ., as well as laxity (hypotonicity) can cause increased risk of injury and uneven wear of the joints. Osteopathy intervention aims to restore the functionality of these structures with the best possible quality of life.
