Body and Mind Well-being

OM Academy is a space of serenity, providing activities and experiences to promote a better, confident and healthier life.

We want to contribute to improve the quality of life, physical and mental well-being and longevity of our clients, through an integrated body and mind approach, helping each person to release their “Superpowers” for a life with more meaning, energy, freedom and impact.

Our mission is simple: build a better, healthier and happier world… one person at a time.

We propose na integrated approach based in 3 pillars of mind and body development:


1. Awaken the body
OM Academy is not a traditional gym. We propose much more than burning calories, with practices to awaken the body, develop awareness and promote health and well-being. Yoga like you've never seen. Fitness like you've never felt.
We offer a very diversified programme because we believe the only solution is an integrated solution, combining the benefits of different practices: flexibility, posture, cardio, strength, core.
 
2. Train the Mind
Training the mind is not about forcing the mind or fighting thoughts, but developing greater awareness of how it works, accepting that thoughts and emotions are fleeting creations, that we can let go. According to the classic definition of Jon Kabat-Zinn, founding father of the MBSR program, mindfulness is the self-awareness that comes from being present here and now, with purpose, without judgment and without expectations. In the modern world, we all tend to take ourselves and our thoughts too seriously, ending up trapped in the narrative of a pampered and demanding “I” that can fragment the mind into feelings of guilt, anxiety, failure or self-sabotage.
The Ganban room (from the Japanese “ganban-yoku”, meaning “hot stones spa”) is the ideal space to find silence or therapeutic sound baths. Our Meditation and Sound Bath sessions are an immersive sensory experience: volcanic stone floor with radiant heat, warm-toned neons and projections, and 3D immersive 8-speaker sound system.
 
3. Energize Life
Sometimes exercise and meditation are not enough, and we need extra support to recharge energy for life. To solve a specific problem, help with personal development or achieve certain goals. OM Academy proposes a preventive and positive approach to well-being, with a program of personal and professional Coaching, consultations of Psychology and Nutrition, Relaxation Massages, Physiotherapy and Qi Gong sessions.
