The name OM academy is inspired by the Zen meditation mantra “oohhmmmm”, referring to the primordial sound and vital energy of the universe. It also symbolizes letting go of an egocentric of fragmented “I” to rediscover a global, unified conscience of “Be”, in harmony with life and the world: One Life, One World, One Me.

Our approach adapts the philosophical and spiritual traditions of Buddhism and Hinduism to a pragmatic approach, helping individuals to let go of a demanding and judgemental ego and rediscover the conscience of simply being in the present moment. We can choose to act in the world and follow our thoughts and ideas, but we are not defined or constrained by those acts and thoughts – each of us is a conscience of Be beyond the pressures of DO. 
OM Academy is based on three pillars, which reflect the ACT model: faced with external events that can trigger negative reactions in the body and/or mind, we can use an “anchor” mechanism to return to the present moment. The practices we offer at OM Academy intend to familiarize and practice these 3 steps of anchoring mind and body:
 
 
 

Acknowledge(conscience): Our Mind Spa offers breathing techniques, guided meditations and immersive sound baths to develop self-knowledge and awareness of the mind.

Connect(focus): The fitness and yoga practices at the Academy promotes physical exercise with deep awareness of the body awareness. Besides the health and quality of life derived from exercise, this enhanced awareness of the body allows you to connect and create a point of focus for letting go of negative emotions.

Engage(commitment): Our Wellness Center features programs and therapies focusing on a positive, preventive approach to coaching, psychology, nutrition and relaxation, helping to restore the body and mind to live longer and better.
