Biogymnastics

Biogymnastics, also known as Natural Gymnastics or Animal Flow, was developed by prof. Orlando Cani, two-time military pentathlon world champion and Olympic gymnastics champion in the 1960s. Biogymnastics is a mixture of Yoga, Martial Arts and Kempô. It teaches how to use strength, resistance, flexibility, coordination, balance and agility, spontaneously and creatively, seeking maximum pleasure in the execution of movements. It became a cult workout for its practitioners, initially in Brazil and later in North America, thanks in part to the success of students like Rickson Gracie, a Jiu-Jitsu and MMA legend. Biogymnastics is inspired by the movements of animals and nature to promote instinctive, natural movements and harmony between body and mind, making the class demanding but also fun. It is an excellent functional training, of strength, balance and cardio, based on a trilogy: breathing, relaxation and concentration.
